Shameelta Pratap brings extensive experience managing large-scale business transformation, ensuring organisations are future fit for tomorrow.

She has over 20-years’ experience working in executive leadership teams across some of the world’s leading construction, engineering and mining companies.

A values-based leader, Shameelta demonstrates a high level of personal commitment, professionalism and integrity in all she does. She believes strong leadership inspires others to excel. With a reputation as a dynamic, respected and results driven leader, she has held senior business roles ranging from building a start-up venture, through to creating cultures of business excellence.

In her role at Thiess, Shameelta leads the Transformation, People and Communication function, responsible for positioning our business for an evolving market. Putting people at the core, she ensures our people are enabled as drivers of change by developing the skills, culture and ambition required to support Thiess through this transformation and into the future.

Shameelta’s academic achievements include a Master of Business Administration (HRM) and studies in neuroscience and health.

She currently sits on a number of advisory boards and is extremely passionate about supporting charitable causes, particularly through harnessing the next generation of philanthropists and impact investors.
