Meet Doddy Irawan

In 2023, Doddy Irawan, a local man living with disability, joined the Thiess Wahana project in the plant/assets department.

Doddy, a father of four, was in an accident prior to joining Thiess that resulted in his left leg being amputated. With the aid of a prosthetic leg, Doddy can fully participate in the workplace as a productive and safe member of the team. Doddy encourages Thiess to continue to employ more people with disability from the local communities, to provide hope and challenge the misperception that people living with disability are not able to be productive workplace team members.
